Gears of War 4 December Update Brings New Maps and Features

Gears of War 4 is getting a big update on December 6, which will add two new maps, several fixes, new features like a Daily Rewards system, and more.

New maps enter public playlists on December 13 for free, but Season Pass holders will have access early, on December 6. The maps include a district called Speyer that is "a still image of pre-Locust War life," and a military fortress called Glory, complete with a mounted turret overlooking an open courtyard. As a result, the Gridlock and Relic maps will be rotated out of the public playlists for now.

Additional improvements and features include a Daily Rewards system, vertical split-screen for Windows 10, audio/video adjustments, and more.

Final Fantasy XV launched for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 29. For our thoughts, check out IGN's Final Fantasy XV review, and find a walkthrough and much more in our Final Fantasy XV wiki guide.
