Germany-based manufacturer, Snakebyte group, has announced new accessories for the Nintendo Switch and the hard-to-find NES Classic Edition.
Snakebyte describes the accessories as "designed to enhance the portable nature of the Switch console." One of the two is a foldable headset that can be used for gaming on the go. The Foldable Headset delivers clear gaming audio using 40mm diameter drivers according to the product description.
Oasis is the newest control map in Overwatch.
Available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, the Overwatch arena sees players battling it out in an advanced city set in the Arabian desert. There are three different control points to defend on Oasis, along with traffic to avoid and jump pads to use.
Blizzard Entertainment also offered an official synopsis for Oasis:
"Researchers and academics from around the region came together to found a city dedicated to scientific progress without restraints — a monument to human ingenuity and invention. The city and its inhabitants are governed by the Ministries, a collection of brilliant minds who possess many secrets that have attracted the interest of powerful organizations from around the world."
While SEGA and Atlus have plans to support Nintendo Switch, Persona 5 and Yakuza 0 will remain exclusive to PlayStation platforms.
In a post on Twitter, Atlus USA and SEGA of America PR manager John Hardin confirmed that Persona 5 and Yakuza 0 won't be ported to Nintendo Switch or PC. "Persona 5 platforms: PS3, PS4. Yakuza 0 platforms: PS4. THAT'S. IT. No Switch. No PC," he said.
Following Nintendo's announcement of Switch, both SEGA and Atlus confirmed plans to support the console. Last year, SEGA announced an "epic" title from Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations team is headed to the platform in 2017.
Intriguing action/adventure/puzzle game Rime, which was first unveiled as a PS4 exclusive at Gamescom 2013 before going radio silent about a year later, has been re-revealed as a multiplatform game due out in May 2017.
As you can see in the re-reveal gameplay trailer above, Rime retains its distinct cartoon-like look and its intriguing vibe, which reminds us a bit of a combination of Zelda: Wind Waker, The Last Guardian, and The Witness. It will now be released for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Tequila Works describes Rime as "a single-player puzzle adventure about discovery, experienced through the eyes of a young boy who awakens on a mysterious island after shipwrecking off its coast. Players must navigate the island's secrets by making use of light, sound, perspective and even time. Inspired by the rugged, sunbaked terrain of the Mediterranean coast, Rime paints its breathtaking world with a fusion of vibrant colors and moving musical undertones to set the stage for the deeply personal journey that awaits within."
Nintendo really wants you to know that its latest Zelda is drawing on the first Zelda. Not content with releasing a whole blog post about the similarities between The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and plain-old The Legend of Zelda, it has now released new artwork for the game that harks back to the 1986 original.
Released to celebrate New Year's Day, Nintendo of America tweeted the new art, showing the new game's blue-shirted Link looking across a cartoon horizon:

New Mass Effect: Andromeda footage will be revealed at tomorrow's CES conference.
According to a recent tweet from the official Mass Effect Twitter account, GPU manufacturer Nvidia will be showcasing new "Mass Effect: Andromeda environments and gameplay" as part of the keynote presentation.

The Brawler's Guild is returning to World of Warcraft in patch 7.1.5, and a parody mode called Ogrewatch will be featured as part of it.
According to PCGamesN, the mode will come with some eerily familiar characters from a varied roster enter the arena to try and kill you.
As detailed in Wowhead's breakdown of the Brawler's Guild fights, the Rank 6 bosses will include the likes of Hudson, a gorilla with a barrier projector, jump pack, and tesla cannon, and Stuffshrew, a character with a maniacal laugh and bombs.Meanwhile, Dupree is a cowboy who takes a long time to aim but does between 2,925,000 and 3,075,000 damage when he finally fires.
