Just Cause 3 Multiplayer Mod Released on Steam

A free multiplayer mod for Just Cause 3 is now available for download on Steam.

The mod is from Nanos, a small team of programmers working independently from Square Enix. With the multiplayer mod, players can access various multiplayer modes, such as Team Death Match, Free Roam and Custom Races, on different servers with their own characteristics.

Players who are proficient with CSS, HTML and JavaScript can also make small tweaks to the game, like vehicle enhancements, and make more significant changes that will alter the game's world.

While the mod is free, you'll need a PC copy of Just Cause 3 to access it.

For IGN's thoughts on Avalanche Studios' action game, read IGN's Just Cause 3 review.

Dragon Ball FighterZ: Two New Characters Announced

The two latest characters to be added to the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster are Piccolo and Krillin.

Piccolo is described as a technical character who has an extendable arm with which he grabs opponents. He's good at breaking through his opponent's guard, and he has fast and powerful beams, or you can charge up for a stronger attack. For an even larger strike, Piccolo either releases a Ki blast from afar or can combine it with a combo move.

Krillin is a skillful, tricky character who creates an image of himself before launching an attack. He lacks reach and power, but has techniques like the Kamehameha for a longer range battle. Plus, he'll be able to use the recognizable Senzu Bean which has restorative powers.

Alysia's seen Atomic Blonde, but had a run-in with Charlize Theron that's even more exciting. Joe's been playing Splatoon 2, and definitely not been using Nintendo's new voice chat app. Meanwhile, Gav finds a new way to crowbar a discussion of Mad Men into the podcast.

On top of that we've got your feedback, discussion of the delights of the French, and Gav cocks up Keyword Countdown real good.

Hearthstone Pros and Personalities on the Game in 2017

I've spent a good deal of my gaming life over the last few years obsessed by Hearthstone. It's a genuinely special game – deeply strategic, infinitely playable, always changing, always surprising and wonderfully presented. It's also worth noting that I've almost definitely spent more time watching Hearthstone than playing Hearthstone in that time. I check in with streams, watch tournaments, follow content creators on YouTube, lurk around the various Hearthstone subreddits and listen to Hearthstone podcasts (plural!) on a weekly basis.

Hearthstone's community, in other words, is pretty vital. There's so much to learn, so much to discuss and so much fun to be had that I'm quite happy to divide my time between the community and the game itself. With that in mind, now that there's a little lull before Knights of the Frozen Throne kicks into gear (more info and card reveals are coming on July 24) I figured this was as good a time as any to take the pulse of some of my favourite pros and personalities within the community. To find out how they're feeling about Hearthstone right now, what they'd like changed or added, and what they think of the theme for the next set. To do that I gave the same set of six questions to a bunch of people.  We'll do introductions first, then dive into the questions. And a massive thank you to everyone involved!

COD: Nazi Zombies Will Be the 'Most Terrifying' Yet

During the Call of Duty: WW2 Nazi Zombies Reveal panel today at San Diego Comic-Con, Sledgehammer officially revealed the next iteration of their zombies mode calling it "probably the least campy and most terrifying" yet.

The panel opened with a finished version of the previously leaked trailer, showcasing an intensely gory, horror-themed take on the zombies formula.

"The number of times we think you're going to maybe pee a little is going to be more than what you've experience before," Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey said, who was joined by creative director Cameron Dayton and senior director of development Jon Horsley.

The team stressed their goal is to keep it grounded and avoid that natural desire to "dial everything up to 11," while Condrey drew parallels between lessons he learned from a previous game he developed, Dead Space.
