Activision Aware of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 Issues
Activision has acknowledged the bugs and problems that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 players are encountering in the sports game.
A company representative provided IGN with the following statement: "We are aware of the issues that players have experienced following the launch of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 and are working with the developer to address these so that we can continue to improve the gameplay experience for all of the Tony Hawk fans who have known and loved this franchise for more than 16 years."
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 released earlier this week in North America, immediately receiving a 7.7 GB update that's bigger than the file size of the shipped game. And Activision and developer Robomodo revealed a new art style for the sports game just two months ago.

Times Square's Best Buy Theater Renamed PlayStation Theater
Sony and AEG Live have announced Times Square's 2,150-capacity concert and events venue has been renamed the PlayStation Theater.
Previously known as the Best Buy Theater, the new name comes as the venue celebrates its 10th anniversary and as part of a "strategic partnership" that'll see rebranding of all the theater's interior and exterior signage. Additionally, it'll lead to live performances being shown on the PlayStation Network.
"As a leader in global entertainment, PlayStation is the perfect partner for a venue centrally located at the 'crossroads of the world,'" said Mark Shulman, Vice President and General Manager of AEG Live. "As the live music experience evolves, it's important to AEG Live to stay ahead of technology and trends, and as many of our younger fans are gamers as well, we are excited for the possibilities at PlayStation Theater."

Destiny Streamer Livestreamed Her Marriage Proposal
An unsuspecting Destiny player livestreamed her marriage proposal.
Twitcher nescaughtfire33 -- who had been surprised that so many people had tuned in for her latest stream -- was part-way through a scheduled Destiny stream when her dog came into the room with a gift around its neck (around 36 minutes into the video).
Moments later, Nes' partner presented the ring and formally asked her to marry him.
"This is why I messaged all those people and told them to come in," he said after formally proposing.
Destiny sales hit 6.3 million units, amounting to US$47.5 million, within a month of its September 9 release last year, according to documents pertaining to the lawsuit between developer Bungie and former long-time employee Marty O’Donnell.
