God of War is out, it's a masterpiece, and you should play it. But you can't play it all the time, and when you're not playing it, we're guessing you're thinking about playing it.
If you're on the bus and your PlayStation is far away, if you're on your lunch break at work, if your controller's battery has died, if you're waiting for Amazon to deliver your PlayStation so you can play God of War... then we recommend watching these movies. Each of these seven films will help you appreciate God of War in a different way.
They're all contextually or thematically congruent with the games' marvelous style and story, and they explore many of the same ideas. Most are good, one is bad (we'll get to that), but every one of these movies will likely enhance your enjoyment of Sony's modern classic.
