One of Call of Duty's core studios, Sledgehammer Games, has opened a new office in Melbourne, Australia. While what the studio will work on is unknown, it's the latest in a series of apparent moves that suggests Activision is further shaking up COD's traditional development structure.
Sledgehammer Games Melbourne was announced during a talk by Alayna Cole at New Zealand's Game Developer Conference, where she revealed she's starting at the studio as a producer this coming Monday as the "first official hire."
