When I say a big new feature is coming to FIFA 17, you're probably sceptical. I imagine you expect it to be something like a new collision system informed by cutting-edge biomechanical research being conducted somewhere in Geneva. I can understand the cynicism – annual sports franchises thrive on a canny mix of innovation and preservation – but no, FIFA 17 really does have a big change this year. Honestly.
So how big of a change? Well, there's a single-player campaign, complete with light RPG elements, dialogue wheels, branching storylines, and what's more, it's all built on the same engine as Dragon Age: Origins.
