Hi-Rez Studios has just announced Smite Tactics, a new strategy game that takes place in the same universe as its popular third-person MOBA Smite.
Smite Tactics will feature turn-based strategy gameplay, which has players directing gods and minions across the battlefield with the goal of leading their team to victory. Before battle, players will create their armies using an assortment of collectible cards.
The game is being built on the Unreal 4 Engine and will feature "many familiar faces from the Battleground of the Gods." In addition to ranked 1v1 competitive modes, Smite Tactics will feature several adventure modes, during which players will battle against AI-controlled enemies.
