August's list of free PlayStation Plus free games has been revealed, with Just Cause 3 and Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry headlining the list.

- Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry (PS4)
- Super Motherload (PS3)
- Snakeball (PS3)
- Downwell (PlayStation Vita with PS4 crossbuy)
- Level 22 (PS Vita)
Just Cause 3 was first released in 2015, and at the time of its release, IGN's Just Cause 3 review of the latest entry in Square Enix's open-world action series said the game was riddled with "so many performance problems and punishing load times."
