Bungie has confirmed in a tweet that players of Destiny 2, which launched today, are going to have to wait at least a few days before taking advantage of any of the game's clan features.
Clans are communities of like-minded Destiny players who are able to journey through the game together and benefit from each other's achievements; although they existed in the original Destiny, they were only accessible through the Destiny website and functioned essentially in the background. In Destiny 2, they've been overhauled and brought to the forefront of gameplay, featuring in the user interface and allowing Guardians to join their fellow players on the fly, creating fireteams with other Clan members and levelling the Clan up as individual members work their way through the game.
