Bethesda has announced that level editing tool SnapMap will not feature in the Switch port of Doom.
A representative of the company revealed to Engadget that the popular feature will be left out of the game when it comes to the Nintendo Switch later this year.
SnapMap allows players on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions of Doom to create custom maps and new gameplay experiences by editing the game logic. Maps can then be shared with players across the globe, and are available on every compatible platform.
Switch players will, therefore, miss out on the many user-generated maps and modes that expand the core experience of Doom.
