During a Nintendo Direct today, Nintendo revealed Minecraft for New 3DS systems, and announced that it will be available digitally beginning today, with a packaged version coming to retail stores at a later date.
On New Nintendo 3DS, Minecraft offers Survival and Creative modes, plus five skin packs and two new texture packs and more.
The touch screen will be used for inventory, map, and crafting, and can be played with either touch or button controls.
This marks yet another partnership with Nintendo for Minecraft, which previously launched on Wii U and most recently on Nintendo Switch. Telltale's episodic series Minecraft Story Mode also came to Switch last month.
