Nintendo just recently added video capture to Switch, and may already be looking to extend the allotted recording time.
According to Kotaku's sources, Nintendo is planning to extend the recording limit, as the function is currently limited to 30 seconds of video time and only works for select first-party titles that support it.
The company allegedly wants to keep the time restriction in place until all first-party titles support the feature. Nintendo also reportedly wants larger third-party games that use its characters, like Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, supported early, and will be actively approaching the studios behind those titles to make it happen.
