The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) has announced speakers for the 2018 DICE Summit, including discussions featuring both game and film directors.
Neil Druckmann, The Last of Us Part II's director and co-writer, will join Dan Trachtenberg, the writer and director of 10 Cloverfield Lane, to speak about creating character-driven experiences, and the unique challenges of creating compelling narratives in both interactive and non-interactive mediums.
The 2018 DICE Summit will take place February 20 through the 22 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The summit will also include talks by Studio MDHR about the creative process behind indie hit Cuphead, and Boabab Studios for a discussion about the emotional storytelling in Virtual and Augmented Reality.
