Fortnite's February Revenue Eclipses PUBG

Last month, Fortnite's revenue topped that of its battle royale rival, PUBG, earning $126 million; an impressive feat considering it's a free-to-play game and all of that money came from in-app purchases.

By comparison, PUBG brought in $103 million, with most of that being attributed to the one-off purchase of the game itself, reports The Verge. While PUBG does offer in-app purchases, Bluehole hasn't mechanised the model as much as Epic, which rolls out new skins and emotes with each new season, as well event-specific items, like the recent Spring It On with its St. Patrick's Day-themed hero and rewards.
