Alien: Blackout Is Real, Is a Mobile Game

The much-rumoured Alien: Blackout is a real game, starring Alien: Isolation's Amanda Ripley, and it's coming to iOS, Android and the Amazon App Store.

Developer D3 Go! has a listing on its website, describing the game as "a new chapter in the Alien franchise following the saga of Amanda Ripley, Ellen Ripley's daughter, between the films Alien and Aliens." It's listed only as coming soon. Check out the reveal trailer below:

It's not completely clear what form the game itself will take, but it looks to be similar in approach to Alien: Isolation's survival horror style.

Per the official description: "Using only the space station's limited power supply to operate a holographic map, surveillance cameras, and motion tracker, attempt to remain hidden and protect your crew from the perfect hunter in seven fear-inducing levels."
