Buy Avengers on Current-Gen, Get a Free PS5 or Xbox Series X Upgrade

Marvel's Avengers is set to release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 4. It's also coming to next-gen consoles when they launch later this year, but if you buy a current-gen copy, you'll get a free upgrade to the PS5 or Xbox Series X version, as long as you stay in the same console family. That's a great consumer-friendly move we've seen with a few other upcoming games, including Cyberpunk 2077. The game is up for preorder now on PC and current-gen consoles. It comes in standard or deluxe editions, as well as an "Earth's Mightiest" collector's edition. The Earth's Mightiest Edition of Marvel's Avengers comes with a 12-inch statue of Captain America, exclusive steelbook case, Hulk bobblehead, Mjolnir keychain, Black Widow's belt buckle, Iron Man's prototype armor blueprints, Kamala Khan's honorary Avenger pin, a commemorative Avengers group photo, Obsidian Outfit pack (six hero outfits), six exclusive Obsidian nameplates, and 72-hour early access to the game. This edition is still in the process of rolling out to retailers, but it should be everywhere before long.
