After working on a number of games at Valve, video game writer Erik Wolpaw has left the studio.
News of Wolpaw's departure comes by way of former Valve scriptwriter Marc Laidlaw, who posted on Twitter: "Wolpaw left Valve so I can now insult him freely without damaging the company's reputation. He's a comic genius and a true original."
Shortly thereafter, Wolpaw took to Twitter to confirm that Jay Pinkerton, who co-wrote Portal 2 with Wolpaw, hasn't left the company, saying, "Pinkerton's still at Valve! Stop sending him concerned emails!"
