Just like Nintendo's biggest franchises (Zelda, Mario, and Pokémon) Nintendo Labo and the "Toy-Con" deserve all the attention it's inevitably going to receive.
My eight-year-old son Keegan and I had the opportunity to go hands-on with each of the five Toy-Con included in the Variety Kit at a Labo event in New York: the RC Car, Fishing Rod, House, Motorbike, and Piano - as well the highly sophisticated stand-alone Robot Kit. After being asked to create our own personalized Labo nametags, Keegan and I took our seats at our designated building area - which was complete with an assortment of colorful markers, pencils, and stickers for us to decorate our Toy-Con creations with.
