Will Dozens of Games Remain Trapped on the Wii Forever?

After carting them around from house to house for years, I finally got rid of all my old game consoles earlier this year. Stacks of Sega Genesis carts, old N64 controllers, a binder of PS1 games… it was time for all of them to go.

It's not that I'll never go back to those games or don't care about them. It's just so much easier and more convenient to pick up these games digitally when I want to revisit them. Why hold on to my three Final Fantasy IX discs when I have it on my phone? Why keep all my beloved Rare N64 games when I already have them in Rare Replay?

And if you missed those games the first time around, it's now incredibly easy to catch up. If you didn't own a Sega CD growing up and never got to play Sonic CD (the greatest Sonic game ever made), you can now pick it up for a few bucks on Steam, iTunes, Google Play, PS3, or Xbox 360.
