Pokemon Go has seen tremendous success since its release last week. And though its rollout around the world has been a slow one, that hasn't stopped the app from reportedly making $14 million in its first few days, causing a rise in Nintendo shares (despite Nintendo only having a stake in The Pokemon Company and not being primarily involved in its development), and renewing interest in the rights for a live-action Pokemon movie.
But outside of the game itself, and the renewed interest in the Pokemon franchise as a whole on its 20th anniversary, Go has also seeped into seemingly all facets of modern life. And because of the game's prevalence, it's resulted in some... strange stories.
