Arms' first DLC character, Max Brass, will be released on July 12.
"The Commish," as he's otherwise known, will join the fight via a free update next week, Nintendo announced.
Max Brass has been the top fighter for years and has the ability to avoid flinching while taking attacks when his arms are charged up.
The new character also has a similar power to Spring Man, in that both fighters' arms are permanently charged when their health reaches below 20 percent.
