Development on the fan project TimeSplitters Rewind, the Crytek-approved multiplayer compilation of the first three TimeSplitters games, has stalled.
The developers behind the community-led project announced in a blog post that, due to issues with CryEngine, they're currently unable to work on the project with any momentum. "What takes us a few minutes in another engine took us up to four days in CryEngine," reads the post.
The team has been waiting for Crytek to release necessary CryEngine updates, which would change "the core systems of the engine," for over four months now.
