Xbox has today confirmed a new app that will allow gamers to stream Xbox One games to an Oculus Rift via their home network and Windows 10 PC will be available for free on the Oculus Store from December 12.
Note that the new software won't suddenly and magically turn your Xbox One games (and backward compatible Xbox 360 games) into virtual reality experiences; the app will simply stream your Xbox games onto a large, virtual screen within a small selection of VR environments. It may suit those seeking a little more privacy while playing, or those keen to trick your eyes into thinking you own a far, far larger television than your brain knows you can afford.
