San Francisco-based studio Campo Santo has today confirmed it has added a new "objective-free" free-roam mode to its well-received first-person adventure game Firewatch.
Firewatch's free-roam mode features dynamic 24-hour time of day effects and will be unlocked after you've finished the game (it is available in the special features section of the main menu).
The patch is available now for PS4 and Steam players (the mode is already present in the Xbox One version of Firewatch, which was released several months later than PS4 and PC, in September).
