At its San Diego Comic-Con party tonight, SEGA confirmed that a new Sonic game is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo's NX in holiday 2017.
The game is currently untitled, and no other details were revealed beyond the fact that it will be both a digital and physical release, and that the "epic title" is in development from the same team that made 2010's Sonic Colors and 2011's Sonic Generations.
Tonight's announcement follows a series of teases from Sonic Team, in which the team promised a "completely new game" in honor of the franchise's 25th anniversary.
